Letter From Chief Nurse Executive
Dear Nursing Colleague,
Thank you for considering Trinity Regional Health System in which to practice the profession of nursing! Whether you are beginning your career or are a seasoned clinician, a wide array of practice opportunities awaits you. Our Clinical Care/Case Management Model based on Zander's principles provides for a rich, collaborative practice in an interdisciplinary setting where patient priorities are "graphed" to guide daily care delivery. Technological advancements assist you in providing safe and efficient care with the use of spectralink communication devices, bar code scanning for medication administration, computers on wheels and "minimal lift" equipment at the bedside.
To support your professional growth, Trinity boasts a Clinical Advancement Program founded on Benner's Model of Novice to Expert. Personal demonstration of differentiated interpersonal, clinical and leadership skills earns you an opportunity for advancement along a four-level continuum of recognition and compensation. Additionally, Nursing Journal Club, Grand Rounds, National Certification support and Continuing Education funds all enrich your professional growth. Pursuit of a BSN at Trinity College is fully supported through 100 percent tuition-reimbursement for full time nurses.
Nursing practice at Trinity is based on Watson's Caring Theory. Collaboration with the physician, patient and family is at the very core of our practice to positively affect optimal health outcomes. Together, we serve as patient advocates to make a palpable difference.
I would be honored should you decide to join the Trinity team! We know that you would discover, as well as contribute to, the enriching practice environment that awaits you. Please join us on our Magnet journey of excellence in practice, service and professionalism. We would be happy to answer any of your questions. Please contact Human Resources at (309) 779-2266.
Sincerely,
Michael J. Patterson, MSN, RN
