Comfort and Convenience
Nothing can replace the warmth and familiarity of being at home, especially during illness or recovery. Home health care is a valid, cost-effective alternative to institutional care. Trinity provides a full range of home care services, designed with safety, comfort and convenience in mind.
All service is provided under the supervision of a registered nurse, who will design a specialized care plan for each client. Employees are carefully selected, supervised and insured. Also, they participate in educational programs, enabling them to provide a high quality of care.
Private Duty Services
- Nursing care is provided by registered nurses and licensed practical nurses, including administration of medications, dressing changes, and monitoring of the client's condition.
- Home Health Aides provide bathing and dressing assistance, help with exercises, meal preparation, errands, and light housekeeping.
- Homemakers assist with cooking, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping and other household chores.
- Private Duty staff also provides support for new mothers and their families or for well or sick children, ages infants through teens.
Charges for care by private duty staff are based on hourly rates that vary according to services provided and the level of staff scheduled. There is a four-hour minimum charge for the Adult Program and a three-hour minimum for the Child Care and Homemaker programs. Care can be provided up to 24 hours a day.
Some services may be covered by commercial insurance plans or state Medicaid waiver programs. Trinity VNHA will contact and verify insurance coverage. All service charges are fully explained prior to starting care and there are no hidden fees. Trinity VNHA welcomes the opportunity to consider preferred provider discounts regardless of your plan.
