Individual and group settings are utilized to provide education and problem identification for inpatients with alcohol or other substance abuse problems. Substance abuse addiction, including misuse of drugs and alcohol, can create extremely stressful and concerning situations for both the patient and their loved ones.

When a patient comes to the Robert Young Center who is in need of our chemical abuse program, the appropriate referral and linkage is made to Riverside for treatment intervention. There, the Riverside medical and nursing staff will work with the patient on treatment options and resources.
