Trinity Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Clinics
Your body heals most wounds normally, without requiring outside help. Still, there are almost six million Americans who suffer from problem wounds at any given time. Some wounds are associated with complications from diabetes and other related vascular disorders, while other types include pressure sores and traumatic wounds.
No matter what type of wound you are struggling with, the Trinity Center for Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine can help reduce the time it takes to heal problem wounds by using the most up-to-date approaches and scientific advances available. Our clinics, located in the Bettendorf Professional Center and at the Trinity Moline Campus, feature the only hyperbaric oxygen chamber available in the Quad Cities.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a treatment in which the patient breathes 100 percent oxygen inside a pressurized chamber for short periods of time. The therapy quickly delivers high concentrations of oxygen to the bloodstream, accelerating the healing rate of wounds, and is highly effective in fighting certain types of infections. It also stimulates the growth of new blood vessels, improving circulation and helping to prevent future problems. View clip of Hyperbaric Chamber

What You Can Expect
When you arrive, you will undergo a thorough diagnostic exam to determine the type of wound you have and the underlying problems that are causing it. After completing the testing process, you will then work with our medical professionals who will tailor a program specifically for you. Our treatment options are based on the most effective procedures and research out there.
Once treatment has begun, you'll visit the Center regularly for ongoing wound care. We'll show you how to care for your wound at home between visits and protect yourself from further complications like infection. Treatment at the center is by physician referral or self-referral. Contact our center for an appointment or more information at (563) 742-5100.
