For Visitors
Trinity recognizes that the support of family and friends can play a vital role in the recovery of each patient. The hospital has established unrestricted visiting hours so the scheduling needs of both patients and visitors may be met. Visitors should be free of infectious disease, such as a cold or flu. Special restrictions apply to the following areas:
- Mother/Baby: Children under age 12 may visit only when accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Robert Young Center/Riverside Inpatient Services: Our mental health facilities require that persons wishing to visit a patient first call the nurses' station for information. Visitors also must stop at the nurses' station before visiting a patient.
- If special visiting hours are needed in regard to a patient, the nursing staff will advise family and friends.
When visiting, we ask that you sit on chairs rather than the patients' bed, and that you keep your voices low as a courtesy to other patients. All levels of the hospital also have family lounges available. Specific waiting areas are available for families near Critical Care, the Emergency Room, Surgery and Medical/Surgical units.
Each patient has their own direct telephone line. The lines are available between 6:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily. In case of an after-hours emergency, please call the switchboard to connect with the nursing staff of the patient’s floor at (309) 779-5000 for Quad-Cities campuses and (563)-264-9100 for Muscatine.
